Is it really spring already?

So much has happed since I last wrote. I am still creating, and feel a sense of peace and accomplishment from this. It doesn't translate on the blog due to my lack of attention, but behind the sense are buzzing. I have a huge urge to block print and with spring here I have a lot of natural influences. That is my next step.
But for now this is what has kept me busy.

I'm posting the little Matchbox Theaters I have made over the last two months. The pictures are not the best quality, so I hope they get across the idea. The photographer in the family is my daughter. I have begged for technical help, but here we go. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Yummy!

I am learning that creating can take on many flavors. These are Cinnamon Roasted Almonds. When we lived in Florida we use to buy them at the local festivals. With winter bearing down on the North Carolina mountains, I needed a taste of sunshine.

Trinkets that my amazing daughter found for my peep shows.

My amazing daughter found these at Uncle Fun's in Chicago. She is always on the hunt for me. I am a bit frightened that I have given her the scavenger gene. All joking aside she is my biggest cheer leader.
The first week has been good. I have not yet formed habits and I have to remind myself. I'm doing it! I tell my youngest daughter about life..." It may not be pretty, but it's real, and it's honest, and mine." Kinda feeling that way about this journey.

I'm expeirementing with Match Book Theaters

I always loved making these as a child. Well... not the  peep shows.
I think half the fun was making them. I use to play for hours with these on the long road trips. I would lay in the back of the station wagon and put on extravagant plays. Just for me. The family wasn't pleased if I made the play a musical.
So I jumped on another tangent and I'm off.

Just a few of my felt fun things
